President’s Distinguished Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Washington State University (the inaugural recipient). IFT Tannar Award - for the Most-Cited Paper of 2015 published in the Food Engineering and Materials Science Section of Journal of Food Science -- Unlocking Potentials of Microwaves for Food Safety and Quality. International Food Engineering Award, American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers & Nestle, “for breakthrough engineering design and development of microwave/radio frequency thermal processing technologies, and outstanding leadership and education of food engineering professionals” and more than 10 awards he won. And he published more than 100 research papers.

Mükerrem Kaya is a Professor at Food Engineering Department, Atatürk University, Turkey. He worked as a guest scientist at Federal Meat Research Institute in Kulmbach, Germany between 1988 and 1990. He was a visiting scientist in the same institute in 1998. He worked as researcher or project manager in many national and international projects. He held various administrative and academic posts in Atatürk University. He has over 100 articles published in journals indexed by SCI and SCI-Expanded and over 150 communiqués presented in national and international scientific gatherings. He advised over many doctoral and masters theses in the areas of meat science and technology and meat microbiology. He is currently continuing his studies as member of Department of Food Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Atatürk University. He has also been the president of Advisory Commission on Meat Products of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Republic of Turkey since 2017.

Topwe Mwene-Mbeja currently works as a professor of organic chemistry at the Department of chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Lubumbashi, DR Congo. He was Donned Ph.D., in Organic chemistry at Laval University, Quebec, Canada. He is also Member of an association or a French speaking society at Association of graduates of Laval University. Topwe does research in Medicinal Chemistry, Organometallic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Our group is interested in the discovery of biologically active natural products possessing properties against cancer. Our group is also interested in green chemistry projects related to the prevention of pollution of the environment and sustainable development.

Dr. Babar Ali is working as Assistant Professor in College of Pharmacy, Buraydah Colleges, Al - Qassim, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) since 2012. He has been awarded M. Pharm degree in 2007 and Ph.D degree in 2012 in the field of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry. He has one year teaching experience in Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy and Research (HIPR), Dehradun, India after M. Pharm. He had awarded Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR, Govt. of India during his Ph.D tenure. He published more than 30 national and international papers in peer reviewed international journals and is serving as an international editorial board member of reputed journal. He has sound knowledge of modern sophisticated instrumentation techniques like UV, NMR, HPTLC and HPLC.

Research Interest: Dr. Babar Ali is interested in quality control and standardization of natural drugs, isolation and characterization of phytochemical markers and NCEs from plants and their bioassay, to provide bioenhancer compositions useful as transport facilitators that increase bioavailability of therapeutically important drugs, chromatography of natural compounds, UPLCMS/MS.
